The Heart of My Work
Color is at the core of my artistic expression. It ignites my imagination and empowers me to paint with passion, texture and bold strokes. Through the rich immediacy of oil pastels, I strive to distill the raw energy of the natural world: the vast expanse of skies, the unique rhythm of desert landscapes, and the endless waters of the world. My work isn't presented behind glass or constrained by frames; the deckled edges give the pieces a quality found in Mother Nature.

Process and Materials
I create my original 6.5 x 6.5-inch pieces on printmaking paper, painting with a rich palette of oil pastels. Instead of traditional paint brushes, I use soft squeegee tools for blending. My larger giclées—available in 8.5 x 8.5, 12 x 12, and 18 x 18 inches—are printed on Hahnemühle William Turner paper. This beautiful watercolor paper offers a perfect balance between the weight of a heavier paper and the delicate quality of a premium giclée surface. Its 100% cotton rag content ensures its highly archival quality. The paper's subtly coarse texture gives a raw yet elegant look to my art, highlighting its unique character.
